Services
Atlanta Pallets & Services offers a wide range of pallet‑related services designed to support customer operations, improve efficiency, and reduce overall pallet costs. Our experienced team works closely with customers to determine the most effective solutions for their specific needs.
Export Pallet Heat Treatment
Most international shipments require wood pallets to comply with ISPM‑15 heat‑treatment regulations to help prevent the spread of invasive pests. Atlanta Pallets & Services operates certified heat‑treatment facilities at our Colonial Parkway and Farrar Street locations.
Together, these facilities operate multiple kilns capable of processing large volumes of pallets to meet export requirements. All heat‑treated pallets are properly stamped and documented in accordance with current regulations.
Because international shipping requirements can vary by destination, our sales team works with customers to help ensure pallets meet applicable compliance standards for their specific shipments.

Pallet Sort and Repair Programs
Our Pallet Sort & Repair program, also known as Repair and Return (RR), allows customers to extend the life of their pallets and reduce replacement costs.
Under this program, we can place a trailer at your facility to collect damaged or used pallets. Once full, the trailer is returned to our facility, where pallets are sorted, inspected, and repaired when possible. Serviceable pallets are then returned for reuse.
This program can be a cost‑effective alternative to purchasing new pallets and is customized based on pallet type, quantity, and customer needs.
Pallet Disposal and Recycling
In addition to repair services, we offer pallet disposal and recycling programs for pallets that are no longer suitable for reuse. Unlike Repair and Return programs, pallets collected under this service are not repaired and returned.
Recovered pallets are evaluated at our facilities, where usable components may be reclaimed for reuse in pallet manufacturing. This process supports material reuse and waste reduction by diverting pallets from landfills whenever possible.
Mold Prevention Dipping
We offer an optional mold‑retardant dip treatment to help reduce the likelihood of surface mold development on pallets. This treatment helps slow mold growth by sealing exposed wood surfaces during pallet production.
Proper handling and storage also play an important role in mold reduction. Storing pallets in dry, well‑ventilated areas and spacing stacks to promote airflow can further help minimize mold development. Our staff is available to share best practices based on your application and storage environment.

Removal of Odd-Sized Pallets
To help customers manage warehouse space and pallet inventory, we offer odd‑size pallet removal programs. A trailer can be placed at your location for the collection of non‑standard pallets.
Once full, the trailer is removed and replaced as needed. Removal terms are based on pallet size, quantity, and condition, and are evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis. This service applies only to pallet materials; trash or non‑pallet debris is not accepted.
Transportation and Delivery
We operate a company‑owned fleet of more than 60 tractor‑trailers, including both flatbed and van trailers, allowing us to manage deliveries directly.
Our in‑house transportation capabilities support scheduled, coordinated deliveries designed to meet customer production and warehousing requirements. Managing transportation internally helps ensure dependable service and minimizes disruptions to customer operations.
